In September 2018, the Constitutional Court of South Africa made a landmark ruling: the prohibition on the personal, private use and cultivation of cannabis by adults was declared unconstitutional. That ruling changed everything.

Bankies was built in the spirit of that moment — and in honour of everything that came before it. We are a closed, members-only private cannabis club operating fully within the Cannabis for Private Purposes Act (2024). A place where culture, community, and the finest herb meet. Privately.
